I grew up loving the Lord, but didn’t make it personal until my senior year in high school. My personal walk with Jesus continued to grow in college and the first years of marriage, but I was missing out on the fellowship aspects of a church family. After the birth of our first son, Josh, my wife, Sue, and I decided that we needed to find a church that believed in the same things we believed in and could become involved in.

I visited Galilee/Living Faith by myself one Sunday in 1992 and promptly went home and told Sue it was not the church for us. We checked out some other churches in the area but decided to try Galilee one more time together. This time the feeling was totally different. We were greeted by some of the members after church who happened to be Bethel grads that I knew from school and started talking. I was soon singing on the worship team, involved in other activities like AWANA, and put on the nursery schedule. We have been regular attenders since 1993.

Galilee/Living Faith has been our church family for over 20 years. We have raised our two sons, Josh and Evan, in the church and love the family of God here. We are truly blessed to have Mark and Jen Dougan as our youth leaders. I have been involved in various roles in the church during our 20 years including AWANA leader, council member, church moderator, worship team member, worship director, tech team, and now as the interim church administrator. The Lord has blessed me with this opportunity to use my experience, education and good looks (from the neck up) to help further the kingdom of God. I look forward to seeing what the Lord will accomplish through His servants at Living Faith Church.
